Who uses our technology

The fact that salt batteries were already widely used and developed for a large market was a factor of primary importance,

in a market that is often beset by uncertainty we aim to offer a guarantee of continuity.

Intergridy Project

InteGRIDy is the only European project emerged under the aegis of Horizon 2020 with the aim of designing and developing innovative platforms for modernising and upgrading the European electricity grid.

ZHERO Powered by UNE was selected for the large-scale San Severino Marche pilot project, with the prestigious consortium members including: Politecnico di Milano, La Sapienza University of Rome, and the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

An off-grid solar plant was installed in the municipal market of Gitaza, 30 km from Bujumbara in Burundi.

With this project, UNE Srl won the ninth edition of the Impresa Ambiente Award in the ‘Best International Cooperation for Sustainable Development’ category, where the Zhero system with salt technology is explicitly mentioned.

They are impervious to extreme temperature conditions.
